Admission changes for LSR7 high school athletic events for the 2026-27 school year

Starting this school year, Lee's Summit R-7 School District will implement updated admission procedures for regular-season high school athletic events at Lee's Summit High School, Lee's Summit North and Lee's Summit West.
The updates include new ticket prices and a student ID requirement for students attending athletic events. These changes align LSR7 with admission practices used by most neighboring schools across the Greater Kansas City metro area while supporting a safe, welcoming game-day experience for students, families and spectators.
2026-27 Ticket Prices
Ticket prices for high school athletic events will increase for the 2026-27 school year following a vote by the Suburban Conference. The updated admission prices are:
- Students: $5 (previously $3)
- Adults: $7 (previously $5)
- Seniors 55+: Free admission
- Children aged 5 and under: Free admission
To help offset the price increase, LSR7 will absorb any credit card processing fees this school year.
Student ID Requirement
LSR7 students
High school students attending athletic events at Lee's Summit High School, Lee's Summit North and Lee's Summit West must present a valid school-issued student ID for admission.
If an LSR7 high school student does not have a student ID, they may verify their enrollment by showing their PowerSchool profile. An LSR7 administrator may also verify the student's enrollment before admission.
Visiting students
High school students from the visiting school must present a valid school-issued student ID for admission.
If a visiting student does not have a student ID, a school administrator from the visiting school must verify the student's enrollment before admission.
Other guests
Students under 18 who do not attend either participating school must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, this includes middle school students.
There are no admission restrictions for adults.
Exception: There are no admission restrictions on Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) postseason events.
The updated ticket prices and new admission procedures align the district with most neighboring school districts while supporting a safe, welcoming game-day experience for everyone attending athletic events.
