Summit Ridge Academy Principal Andy Campbell won the inaugural LSR7 Administrator of the Year award. Mr. Campbell was nominated by fellow administrators and selected as the winner by the district's Teacher Advisory Committee.

The following quotes from Mr. Campbell's nomination are just some of the reasons he was chosen as the winner:

"Mr. Campbell meets with each student and parent who are enrolled and works to tailor their experience at SRA to fit their individual needs. He is a passionate educator who wants to work with kids who have barriers to knock down because he was a kid just like that and wants to advocate and help those kids succeed."

"Mr. Campbell is the type of professional educator you want working with those students. He is a big reason why public education is still the shining beacon to make our society a better place."

"He is preparing students for post-secondary success and to become major players and important members of our community. His passion is second to none for kids and his relentlessness to make them successful is motivating and inspiring."

Mr. Campbell has been principal at Summit Ridge Academy since the Fall of 2016. He also volunteers in the community, serving as Board President of Pro Deo Youth Center.
